Annual family membership in the Astronomical Society of Greenbelt is open to anyone with an interest in astronomy. All family members receive the same benefits as those with individual memberships. Children under the age of thirteen may only join as part of a family.
The benefits of membership include:
- admission to all society events
- a chance to meet and socialize with other amateur astronomers
- the opportunity to borrow from the society’s library
- the option to borrow one of the society’s telescopes (one telescope at a time per family)
- participation in the society’s message forum
- astronomy news and information on upcoming events
