ASG Star Party

Weather permitting, the Astronomical Society of Greenbelt will host a star party at the City of Greenbelt Observatory on Saturday evening, June 25, starting at 9:30 pm. We’ll be using the observatory’s 14-inch telescope to view some of the many objects currently high in the sky.
All are welcome, whether Astronomical Society of Greenbelt members or not. Visitors are encouraged to set up their own telescopes on the hilltop in front of the observatory. In accordance with Prince George County guidelines, masks are not required but are highly recommended.
This star party will can also be viewed via Zoom, where live images from the telescope will be displayed.
