SUMMARY:ASG Star Party
DESCRIPTION:Weather permitting\, the Astronomical Society of Greenbelt will host a star party at the City of Greenbelt Observatory on Saturday evening\, May 7\, starting at 9:00 pm. This will be our first in-person star party since the pandemic started. The moon (first quarter\, 41% illuminated) will be high in the sky\, along with many galaxies. \n All are welcome\, whether Astronomical Society of Greenbelt members or not. Visitors are encouraged to set up their own telescopes on the hilltop in front of the observatory.  In accordance with Prince George County guidelines\, COVID masks are not required.
